Privacy Policy

This policy explains what RetireDividend Freedom Engine stores, why it is used, and the controls available to you.

Information you enter

The app may contain retirement balances, income, expenses, investment holdings, tax assumptions, healthcare estimates, family-planning notes, and answers you provide. Do not enter passwords, full account numbers, Social Security numbers, PINs, recovery codes, or authentication secrets.

Storage

The app saves a working copy in your browser. Signed-in users may also use Secure Cloud Backup. Cloud backup stores the entered plan in the site’s private database so it can be restored on another device. It is not connected to a brokerage, bank, payroll system, or financial institution.

Account identification

Passwordless email sign-in identifies the user. One-time sign-in links expire after 15 minutes, and essential session cookies can keep a device signed in for up to 90 days. Before a plan row is stored, the normalized email address is converted into a one-way cryptographic owner key.

Export and deletion

Settings lets you download a readable JSON backup, restore a backup, reset the current browser, or permanently delete both the cloud plan and browser copy. Deletion cannot remove backup files previously downloaded to your own devices.

Payments

Stripe processes card and available wallet payments, subscriptions, invoices, and billing-portal changes. RetireDividend sends payment-confirmation emails using the same transactional email provider as secure sign-in links. Freedom Engine does not receive or store complete card numbers. Stripe’s privacy policy governs information processed directly by Stripe.

Cookies and analytics

RetireDividend uses first-party aggregate measurement to count page visits, video plays, free-tool activity, email-form submissions, checkout starts, and completed subscriptions. Campaign parameters such as source, medium, and campaign may be kept temporarily in session storage so a visit can be attributed during the same browser tab session. This measurement does not store email addresses, account identities, IP addresses, cross-site identifiers, or advertising cookies. Sign-in, security, and saved-session functions may require essential browser storage or cookies.

Children

Freedom Engine is designed for adults planning retirement and is not directed to children under 13.
